Description:
Neupro (rotigotine) patches are used to treat Parkinson’s disease, alone or in a combination with other medications. The patch is specially designed to release medication over a 24 hour period.
Neupro patches (rotigotine) have some of the same effects as a chemical called dopamine, which occurs naturally in the body. Low levels of dopamine in the brain are associated with Parkinson’s disease. Neupro patches (rotigotine) are used to treat early signs and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease such as tremors and uncontrolled muscle movements.
