Description:
Domperidone is a medication that works to increase movements of the stomach and bowel, including contractions. It is used to treat nausea and vomiting that patients experience as side effects of drugs taken for Parkinson’s disease. There may be other uses for Motilium (domperidone) that are not listed in this guide, as well. This medication should only be taken by prescription, and people who have allergies, who are pregnant, or taking other medications should talk to their doctor before using Motilium. Additionally, the medication has not been studied in children, so it is recommended not to use this medication on children under the age of 18 without testing or specific research.
